Statistical Modeling II. This course follows STAT 425 (Statistical Modeling I) to develop methods for modeling non-normal response data, with a focus on categorical response data. The course explores logistic regression, generalized linear models, goodness-of-fit, link functions, count regression, log-linear models, probability models for contingency tables, and methods for dependent and longitudinal data. Data analysis in R and report preparation in R Markdown are integral parts of the course. Prerequisite: STAT 410; STAT 425.
